LNU Joins Nationwide ASEAN Flag Raising Ceremony in Celebration of ASEAN Month 2025
In observance of ASEAN Month 2025, Leyte Normal University (LNU) proudly joined higher education institutions across Eastern Visayas in the simultaneous ASEAN Flag Raising Ceremony held on August 4, 2025, at 7:45 AM via Zoom.
This initiative, aligned with the memorandum from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and in support of Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship, highlights the theme “Buwan ng ASEAN: Sama-sama sa Pag-unlad.” The annual commemoration, pursuant to Proclamation No. 282, s. 2018, underscores the Philippines’ commitment to strengthening regional cooperation and fostering a deeper understanding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations’ (ASEAN) shared goals and milestones.
This year, Malaysia assumes the ASEAN Chairmanship, marking a renewed call for unity and shared progress across Southeast Asia.
