LNU Holds Faculty Welcome Back Session for S.Y. 2025-2026
Leyte Normal University officially opened Academic Year 2025-2026 with its Faculty Welcome Back Session held on August 11, 2025, at the LNU Ballroom. Attended by faculty members from all colleges, the event aimed to align academic and administrative priorities for the upcoming school year.
University President Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino delivered the welcome message, setting the tone for collaboration, innovation, and service excellence. The University Management Committee presented updates on academic services, administration and finance, student development, and research, innovation, extension, and internationalization, emphasizing LNU’s commitment to transformative education and nation-building.
The gathering also served as a venue for dialogue between faculty and administration through an open forum, fostering a shared vision for the year ahead.
