LNU Unveils Renovated Heritage Museum
TACLOBAN CITY (Oct. 1, 2025) – Opening and Blessing of the Newly Renovated LNU Heritage Museum at the Brillo Hall
Leyte Normal University celebrated the Heritage Museum Warming on October 1, 2025, at Brillo Hall, underscoring its commitment to preserving LNU memorabilia and artifacts that embody the institution’s rich legacy. The event was spearheaded by Museum Director/Curator Dr. Nilda V. Jamora and graced by university officials led by President Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino, who emphasized the museum’s vital role in safeguarding the university’s history and cultural heritage.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Management Committee marked the official opening, followed by the warming of the museum where guests had the opportunity to appreciate its collections. The celebration concluded with fellowship, as the community came together to honor this milestone in preserving and promoting LNU’s identity for future generations.
