27 New Librarians Take Oath at LNU
TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES (Oct. 24, 2025) — Oath Taking of Newly Registered Librarians at Hotel Crescencia Function Hall.
A total of 27 newly licensed librarians officially took their oath during the Librarians’ Licensure Examination (LLE) Oath-Taking Ceremony organized by the Philippine Librarians’ Association, Inc. – Eastern Visayas Regional Librarians Council (PLAI-EVRLC) on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Hotel Crescencia, Leyte Normal University.
Of the 27 new professionals, 26 are proud graduates of LNU, while one passer hailed from Mindanao.
Director Armond M. Englis of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region VIII administered the oath of professional librarians. PLAI-EVRLC President Prof. Yolanda C. Cabo led the organization’s proceedings, with messages of support and inspiration delivered by LNU President Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences Dr. Rommel L. Verecio.
