Leyte Normal University Celebrates Science Month with Focus on Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship

Leyte Normal University recently concluded its Science Month celebration, Siyentista Normalista 2024, with an emphasis on using science and technology as tools for sustainability and environmental care. The event’s culmination included a unique “Trashion Show,” where participants showcased creative outfits made from recycled materials, highlighting the importance of waste reduction and resource conservation. This innovative event not only celebrated scientific creativity but also demonstrated the university’s commitment to promoting eco-friendly practices.
Throughout the month, students engaged in hands-on activities that deepened their scientific knowledge and skills while emphasizing the role of science in addressing environmental challenges.
