Urugyas: The LNU Sportsfest 2025 Officially Opens!

TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES (Oct. 28, 2025) — Opening of Urugyas Normalista 2025 at LNU ORC Quadrangle.

Leyte Normal University kicked off its much-awaited Urugyas: The LNU Sportsfest 2025 with a Thanksgiving Mass, followed by an energetic opening program graced by university officials and the LNU community.

Highlighting the spirit of unity and friendly competition, the program featured the introduction and solidarity of the four competing teams — Tribu Lakapati, Tribu Idiyanale, Tribu Dayea, and Tribu Mapulon.

With cheers echoing across the grounds, the opening marked the beginning of a week filled with teamwork, sportsmanship, and school pride.
