Normalista Athletes Shine PFF Filipina5 Futsal Fiesta Eastern Visayas Leg
Leyte Normal University (LNU) Golden Falcons delivered an impressive performance at the PFF Filipina5 Futsal Fiesta – Eastern Visayas Leg held on November 22, 2025 at the Old Capitol Covered Court, Libertad, Tacloban City.
Competing against teams from across the region, the LNU squad secured the 1st Runner-Up title. Two players also earned individual distinctions: Ashley Afable was named Best Scorer, while Jamie Dotingco claimed the Best Defender award.
The event was organized by the Eastern Visayas Regional Football Association. LNU’s team was trained by Head Trainer Nathalie Calleja and Assistant Trainer Alfred Celebrado, with leadership from Head Coach Dr. Victoria Y. Rojas and Assistant Coach Ms. Michell T. Acala.
