Two Research Projects Secure Funding from CTERTI

TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES (Jan. 15, 2026) – Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Activity for Center for Teacher Education Research, Technologies & Innovations (CTERTI) Internally Funded Projects at LNU OUP Board Room.
Leyte Normal University, through CTERTI, formally approved its first internally funded research projects following a MOA signing held on January 15, 2026.
The MOA was signed by LNU President Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino together with the project proponents, in the presence of Executive Director for Research and Innovation Dr. Myra Abayon and CTERTI Director Mr. Michael Dell A. Tuazon.
The approved projects are “4D Learning Module in Understanding to Nurture Growth on Humanitarian Awareness and Welfare (4D LUNGHAW Project),” led by Prof. Reynerio Mendoza, and “Project Tambay: Molding Job-Sensitive Curriculum for the Out-of-School Youth,” led by Prof. Debby Turco and Prof. Aiko Amago.
These initiatives mark the first internally funded projects approved since the establishment of CTERTI, underscoring the University’s strengthened commitment to research, innovation, and inclusive education.
