LNU Holds Investiture and Pinning Ceremony for Aspiring Practice Teachers

Leyte Normal University (LNU) honored its next generation of educators by investing and pinning 385 aspiring practice teachers from the Bachelor of Secondary Education Majors in Mathematics, Social Studies, Values Education, Science, Filipino; and Bachelor of Elementary Education from San Isidro and Main Campus.
The solemn Investiture and Pinning Ceremony held at the Human Resource and Development Center (HRDC) Alba Hall on September 18, 2024, marked a significant milestone in the journey of these young professionals.
The event was graced by the LNU Officials, Faculty, and DepEd Officials including Dr. Sherlita A. Palma, Superintendent of Tacloban City Division, and Dr. Mariza S. Magan, Superintendent of DepEd Leyte Division.
The program’s highlight was the symbolic pinning ceremony, where each practice teacher received their pin, marking their official transition from students to practice teachers.
The ceremony concluded with an Educator’s Pledge and a heartfelt tribute song performed by the practice teachers themselves.
The ceremony served as a testament to LNU’s commitment to nurturing future educators that make a positive impact in the lives of students and communities, guided by the university’s core values of integrity, excellence, and service.
