LNU Students Reap National and Regional Honors in PCO Campus Caravan
Leyte Normal University Bachelor of Arts in Communication (BA Comm) students celebrated remarkable achievement at the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Campus Caravan Awarding Ceremony, held at the Heritage Hotel in Pasay City on October 25, 2024.
Competing against nearly 300 submissions from over 100 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the Philippines, LNU students demonstrated exceptional talent and secured several awards:
Spoken Poetry:
3rd Place National Winner and 1st Place Regional Winner:Ricardo Todio, Jr.
Essay Writing Contest:
3rd Place Regional Winner: Katryna Mae Mallari
Songwriting Contest:
3rd Place Regional Winners: Abegail Copino, Aira Mendiola, and Catherine Salinas
The PCO Campus Caravan drew widespread participation from HEIs nationwide, honoring talented young communicators as part of the PCO’s 82nd Anniversary celebration and October’s Communications Month, themed “Nagkakaisang Tinig Tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas.”
